Ruba Shamshoum - "Risha"

Ruba Shamshoum (ربى شمشوم) was born in Nazareth, but has long lived and created in Dublin, Ireland.

After studying music in Ireland, she released her first album in 2017, "Shamat"(Beauty marks), in which she performs original songs in English and Arabic.

Now she's releasing an EP containing five songs and bears the name "Risha" (Feather), in which she abandons English and sings only in Arabic.

The minimalist arrangements which correspond with Jazz and Electro Pop allow the singing of Shamshoum to stand out and the feeling is of a tight piece in which each song is part of a netural flow.

Someone went out of their way to create an atmosphere and made a huge success of it.

There is something very well thought out and accurate in "Risha", and if I may prophesize, we are going to hear a lot more of Shamshoum.
