La Trova De Las Faez

During the first time that I listened to this album I pinched myself a few times to see if I am dreaming or not. I have accidentally stumbled upon this album and I could not believe that no one ever wrote about such a glorious creation.
Actually, to this date, you can not find this album on Spotify for example.
I do not know much about the lead singers, Floricelda and Candida Faez, but the fact that they are sisters that were born in the late 20s of the 20th century.
They performed for years but they recorded this abum at their late 60s. Their age provide a nice aroma and flavour to their beautiful interpretations and their voices come together in a beautiful harmony.
The finest moment of this album is no doubt the Faez’s sisters’ version for “Perdon” by Pedro Flores but all the rest are also great fun.
A must listen.
