Benny More

By far the best Cuban singer that ever lived. Benny More is the poster boy of Havana’s entertainment industry golden period.
His crystal clear tenor and his anility to improvise on stage have gained him the nickname - “El Barbaro del Rithmo” - (The King of Rhythm).

More moved to Havana at the early 40s and collaborated with Trio Matamores and Perez Prado before funding his own band La Banda Giganta.

He has endless hits under his belt and to date his recordings sounds incredibly good and of high quality.

First time listeners can get a first impression of his rhythmic power by listening to the iconic “Que bueno baila usted” and get moved by his flawless version to the bolero “Como fue”
